Please write a short background of 200 words approximately in the general area of interest. For example, what is the extent of the problem that you are seeking to address and what are the implications for clinical care. You should show that you have read around the general area that you are interested in.
A. Develop a systematic review question using the PICO or PEO formula. Two examples of a PICO question are;
1. What is the impact of reminiscence therapy on quality of quality of life in people over 65?
Population = People over 16
Intervention = Reminiscence therapy
Control = Other approaches or none
Outcome = Quality of life
2. What is the impact of community virtual wards on hospital admissions in all age groups?
P= All age groups
I= Community virtual wards

B. Two examples of a PEO question are;
1. What is the impact of burnout on absenteeism in acute hospital nurses?
Population = Acute hospital nurses

2. What is the impact of pain on quality of life in people with arthritis?

Your assignment should include two components: a background and a systematic review question. The background (approximately 200 words) should explain the extent of the clinical problem you are addressing and its implications for patient care. You should demonstrate that you have read around the general area and explain why this issue is important in clinical practice. Following this, you should develop a clear and focused systematic review question using either the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) or PEO (Population, Exposure, Outcome) framework. Your question should be answerable, relevant to evidence-based practice, and suitable for systematic review methodology.
Write the heading “References” at the end of your assignment before your reference list (do not forget this or all your references will be highlighted by the similarity software);
All students are required to submit their assignment to Turnitin on Moodle by the stated deadline on page 1.
