Objectives: 
Describe the scope of practice of APN role.  
Identify relevant practice issue/problems existing in APN work setting. 
Demonstrate problem resolution and opportunities for professional growth both for the role and within the role. 
Consider the following:
Select an issue relevant to the practice and role of your APN specialization.  
Analyze the issue with respect to its effects on the APN role, health care system, and patient health outcomes, including the significance of this issue in the future development of APN. 
Discuss at least two provisions in The Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements that would relate to this issue/problem. 
Propose an intervention to address the problem, including outcome indicators to measure the success of the interventions and steps one can take to enhance future APN growth
