For the Agenda Setting, you should detail how the problem ended up on the agenda of either the executive (president, governor, city mayor) or the legislative branch (Congress, legislature, city council). Think in terms of the various policy models, such as an issue caught the public’s attention (e.g., issue networks, issue attention cycle) or was it the three policy streams (problem, politics, and policy) coming together. Also consider the role of the bureaurcracies, media, interest groups, etc. in your paper, if they were instrumental in getting the problem moved onto the agenda. What was it that finally got it on the agenda is the key to this paper. You should have a cover page and reference section per APA 7th edition, and include the resources from where you derived your information. The papers should be at a minimum 4 pages in length, typed, double-spaced. I have included the problem identification essay that was turned in, including my professors feedback.
