Each student will write a report on a real world blockchain use-case from the following areas: 1) International Trade and Trade Finance; 2) Real Estate; 3) Payment and Remittance; 4) Personal Identity Management; 5) Healthcare; 6) Financial Services; or any area you are interested in.
An example of real world blockchain use-case in food supply chain is provided.
Students are expected to develop a comprehensive and deep understanding of the use case and implementation of blockchain technology.
Guidelines on the project:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the assigned area;
Identify the problems and inefficiencies in the industry/business network;
Assess why blockchain is a good fit to solve the problems and improve the efficiencies
Major real-world implementations of blockchain technology in the area (e.g. companies/consortium that adopt blockchain technology in the area).
