Aims
Exploring migration involves analyzing global patterns, pathways, reasons, and settlement challenges. This includes understanding how migration shapes society and multicultural communities. It also requires evaluating critiques of multicultural policies regarding their effectiveness in integration, social cohesion, and balancing cultural diversity with national identity.
Research Questions (at least three):
- How do global migration patterns and pathways influence post-migration settlement challenges in different regions?
- What is the impact of migration on Australian society and what are the critiques of multiculturalism?
- How have multicultural migrant communities contributed to cultural and economic development in Australia?
