For this coursework you are required to prepare, with guidance from your supervisor, a literature review of your research topic background and some plans for the proposed research component. Your proposal should have a clear aim and hypothesis for the research work. The reference section should be formatted correctly and in text citation done consistently (Harvard style preferably). You also need to provide a very brief description of completed competency sessions and how these will assist you with your independent research project. Finally, you should append to the document your completed COSHH and RA forms (lab-based project only), and if necessary the ethical approval form (discuss with supervisor).
