When you teach and preach by way of fluff and wandering around without a laser focus, people will walk away from your teaching/preaching and say (EXAMPLE) “They said some good stuff, but I don’t know what the ultimate point was.” When I preach, I synthesize my sermons into ONE sentence and make sure that everything in my notes are integrated to support that ONE sentence.
