1. What are the common causes of psychosis in the elderly population?
2. How will you differentiate delusional disorders from delirium or dementia?
3. What medical comorbidities affect the elderly and the choice of treatment?
4. What therapeutic communications can you apply to enhance trust and rapport with a client with psychotic symptoms?
5. Discuss the pharmacokinetic changes that occur with aging. What are the special considerations concerning the choice of antipsychotics in elderly clients?
