In this assignment, you will critically analyze the eight crime prevention strategies presented in this week’s assigned video How to Stop Crime and Violence in Our Cities. You will review these strategies considering the material covered in Session 3, construct two additional strategies of your own, and justify your reasoning using evidence-based practices and biblical principles.
Once you have reviewed the video, you will create an outline that responds to the following information.
1. Explain the Eight Strategies
Address the following points for each strategy:
Briefly summarize the strategy in your own words.
Examine the expected effectiveness of each strategy based on the material from Session 3, along with any relevant personal experiences you may have.
Demonstrate how the strategy aligns with, or deviates from, any applicable biblical principles.
2. Propose Two New Strategies
Construct two additional strategies you believe would effectively reduce crime and violence.
Explain each strategy with:
Evidence-based research or examples from real-world cases.
Biblical principles that support your suggestions.
3. Conclude Thoughtfully
Provide a reflection on how individuals, families, and communities can contribute to reducing crime and improving quality of life.
