Research Paper: Outline and Bibliography Assignment Instructions
Overview
The Research Paper for this course is about some of the best sources of digital evidence for child abuse and exploitation, domestic violence, and gambling according to the National Institute of Justice. Research commercial forensic packages that you think you would use for such crimes. What advantages are offered by commercial forensic packages? Are there any disadvantages to using them? If so, what are they?
Instructions
Your Outline must include the following 3 items:
• The introduction paragraph.
• Your research objectives.
• A list of at least 3 open-ended research questions you intend your research to ask and hopefully answer. (These must be questions that will require you to draw conclusions from your research.)
• At least 7 initial research sources in APA format. Please make sure to evaluate your resources by stating why you chose each resource. Research should incorporate multiple viewpoints of complex issues.
Example formats for Outlines:
1. Briefly describe the overall concept of system integration.
2. Discuss the traditional approach of big-bang integration, including the major advantages and disadvantages of this approach.
3. Discuss the traditional approaches of top-down and bottom-up integration and their major advantages and disadvantages.
4. Discuss the traditional approach of mixed integration, combining the desirable advantages from the top-down and bottom-up integration approaches.

2. Why has big-bang integration not survived as a useful testing method?
3. Why have top-down and bottom-up integration not been replaced by more modern methods?
4. Why would you use mixed integration all the time rather than sometimes using top-down and bottom-up integration exclusively?
