a. Make sure your response is very detailed about your safety responsibilities that specifically fall under construction and CFR 1926. OSHA requires very detailed information regarding work experience in the construction industry and it must be fully articulated on the form.
b. Be specific and give examples of construction safety topics and hazards that were part of your role, for example, do your safety responsibilities include conducting hazard inspections to identify unsafe conditions on construction job sites? If so, give some examples. Do you conduct safety training? If so, which construction specific topics? Do you record and report injuries due to scaffolding, trenching, power operated hand tools, etc.? Do you monitor the proper use of PPE, crane/excavator operation, aerial lifts, etc.?
