For this assignment, imagine that you have been hired as a consultant for a company that is considering a change from a traditional approach to management to an Agile approach. The company’s leadership has obviously heard of Agile but is not entirely sure what the transition to this new approach would entail. The first thing you are planning to do with them is give a presentation in which you compare the two approaches. And rather than try to show them what the shift to Agile would look like for their entire company, you have decided to focus on what it would look like in one specific area of their organization as a specific example.
As preparation for this presentation, you need to create a seven- to ten-slide (no more than ten) PowerPoint comparing the traditional and Agile approaches to managing a group. Your presentation should do the following:
Focus on one area in their organization (e.g., HR, marketing, sales, operations, etc.) where Agile principles can be applied. Describe the method you would recommend using and how it would improve the changes of the area. Use at least one slide to describe the challenges of changing to Agile methods. Your PowerPoint presentation must be at least seven (7) slides long and not more than ten (10) slides. It should be supported with at least two (2) academic or industry sources in addition to the course text and include appropriate graphics to enhance the presentation. Your presentation should include a title slide and a references slide. The title slide and references slide are not included in the seven- to ten-slide requirement.
For this assignment, you are only creating a PowerPoint presentation file. You do not need to record yourself delivering the presentation.
