For this assignment, you will write a research-based essay comparing a specific society in history to life today in the post-industrial society (postmodernism). You will choose from the four types of societies (hunter-gatherer, horticultural, agrarian, and industrial). As you research life in these different societies, consider how the various aspects alter everyday life and differentially inform the socially constructed self.

Basic Writing Requirements for Essays

Your assignment should be 2-3 pages with a minimum of 350 words (not including the title and reference pages), and should include the following elements:
