You are an ambitious entrepreneur leading a team of individuals in an organisation. You are required to produce a 3,000-word portfolio (+/-10%) excluding references. You are to critically analyse management within an organisation, teamwork, organisational culture and employee’s motivation. The portfolio should demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, supported by research; innovative strategies and include clear recommendations to address identified limitations.

You must select one organisation from the list provided and evaluate it from a management and leadership perspective, particularly in relation to teamwork and organisational culture. The assessment needs to critically examine how management and leadership influence teamwork performance and workplace culture, and how these factors contribute to organisational success.

Your evaluation should present a critical analysis identifying key management and leadership issues affecting teamwork and culture within an organisation and propose practical, innovative solutions grounded in academic research. Below is the list of organisations to choose from:

You are required to provide a portfolio which should be structured around the following key themes, all of which must be addressed to successfully pass the module:

Entrepreneurial Mindset Organisational Culture and Teamwork Motivational Techniques for Team Success Management Challenges and Limitations Innovative Recommendations and strategies Each section must address the specified requirements, and credible sources must be used throughout. The report must adhere to the Oxford Brookes University Harvard Referencing Style.

Introduction (LO2, LO4)

Critical assessment of an entrepreneurial mindset. Evaluate the entrepreneurial organisation and its characteristics. Teamwork (LO1, LO3)

Critically evaluate intrapreneurial managers and leaders of the chosen organisation with evidence from teamwork theories. Culture (LO1, LO3)

Critically evaluate the culture of the chosen organisation. Motivational Techniques (LO1, LO3)

Focus on motivational techniques within organisations, and their importance with relation to the business. Conclusion & Recommendations (LO2, LO4)

Critically evaluate the organisation and provide suitable limitations of the organisation in relation to culture, teamwork, motivational techniques of managers/ leaders. Provide suitable recommendations through innovation for organisations to follow in relation to the limitations. Reflection (LO1, LO2, LO3, LO4)

Reflect critically on yourself as a future entrepreneur leading a team of individuals with relation to culture of the organisation and teamwork. Bring in your self-assessment results as supporting evidence. As a future entrepreneur what sorts of team building activities would help with teamwork and fostering a positive working culture.
