Goal/Overview: The goal of this assignment is to have you gather and reflect upon items you created or gathered throughout the course. Collected artifacts can be stored and shared in a container known as a portfolio. Reflecting upon this portfolio can be a valuable exercise to improve your cultural competency in your nursing practice. Reflection also allows you to present certain ideas that may be missing from your artifacts, as well as any thoughts that you have developed relating to each assignment you are presenting. This assignment allows you to get at the “why” and “how” of your experiences, instead of just “what” and “when.” Instructions: In the previous modules, you were asked to create artifacts providing evidence of your education and understanding of experiences in this course. As you recall, you were encouraged to save these artifacts in a container such as a cloud-based folder, original website, or other medium that can be shared with others. Using Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Canva (or software of your choice), create a presentation of your portfolio. You should have two slides per artifact: one describing the artifact, and one reflecting upon the artifact. The reflection should contain audio or video, should be written (and spoken) in narrative style, and should be 250 words minimum in length. Please use your creativity when creating your presentation! You must include citations and a minimum of three references in APA format. Must use scholarly references within the past five years, unless citing seminal work.
