OUTLINING AND PRESENTATION PREPARATION

OUTLINES:

Each person will create an individual delivery outline for their speaking part ONLY. The individual delivery outline should resemble the outline format for their specific section. Each individual delivery outline should have a header, title (project name), group specific purpose and central idea.

Example:

Mountain View’s Kidz

Specific Purpose: Mountain View’s Kidz will serve as an innovative mentoring program that provides special needs children with new opportunities.

Central Idea: At the end of our presentation, the audience will agree that Mountain View’s Kidz will provide special needs children with new opportunities to learn, play and become contributing citizens in our society.

Each presenter will develop two main points to briefly discuss during their speaking section.

Delivery Method

All team members should be dressed professionally and act as if they are conducting themselves in a business setting.

Each group member will need to create a “credible” role to become to add to the credibility of your presentation (Director, Coordinator, Financial Analyst, Marketing Director, Publicist, etc.)

Keep your presentation within 10-12 minutes.
