Purpose: The purpose of this discussion is to explore telenursing and its impact on rural and underserved populations.

Instructions:

Complete the learning activities for this module. Write an initial post that includes:

• Discuss the pros and cons of telenursing.
• Discuss how rural or underserved populations are affected during a pandemic when more clinics offer virtual visits.
• Provide specific examples (without using identifying information) of patients you have seen in your practice setting who have experienced health disparities due to living in a rural area or are an underserved population.
