For the second assignment this week, schedule a meeting with your professor via Skype or telephone. During the meeting, explain your personal reaction to this week’s readings along with additional research you may have conducted. How do your personal ethical values compare and contrast with the NASW Code of Ethics that you are required to follow as a professional? Be sure during this meeting you demonstrate the following practice competencies:
make ethical decisions by applying the standards of the NASW Code of Ethics, relevant laws and regulations, models for ethical decision-making, ethical conduct of research, and additional codes of ethics as appropriate to context;
use reflection and self-regulation to manage personal values and maintain professionalism in practice situations;
demonstrate professional demeanor in behavior; appearance; and oral, written, and electronic communication;
