Nsa Rubric Lesson
Nsa Rubric Lesson Plan Analysis and Feedback is the focus of this assignment, which guides students through evaluating two teachers’ one-week lesson plans using the NSA Lesson Plan Rubric from Appendix B. The project draws on Chapter 2 of Leverage Leadership 2.0 and requires written summaries of each plan’s instructional and assessment practices, a discussion with a principal, and a reflection on improving lesson planning.
After reading Chapter 2 in Leverage Leadership 2.0, review the following documents in the DVD to determine what will be useful in completing this project.

Project 3 – Instruction/Lesson Plan Analysis
Choose two teachers that will provide a one-week lesson plan for evaluation. Analyze the two plans using the NSA Lesson Plan Rubric (located in Appendix B). Create a summary of the instructional and assessment practices specified in the lesson plans. Decide what feedback you would give the teachers and list those issues to be addressed when providing feedback to the teacher.
Discuss your observations with the principal and get feedback on the effectiveness your proposed comments might have on the teachers. Write the following:
Summary of Teacher 1’s lesson plan and rating
Summary of Teacher 2’s lesson plan and rating
Summary of discussion with the principal
Reflection on the best way to handle improvement of lesson planning as a principal. Include discussion of the lesson plan format, review process, and feedback procedures.
