Risk Matrix Summary Memorandum
Option A: Using the OSHA Manufacturing Hazard Identification Training Tool, perform a risk assessment for the three categories of the manufacturing tool:
- Area,
- Equipment, and
- Workers.
Once you have selected your option, compose a memorandum that summarizes the safety data. Each category has limited information; thus you will have to be creative and simulate part of your scenario. For example, the OSHA tool identifies the hazard; you will need to identify the severity, probability, likelihood, etc. and then describe how you will reduce the risk level.
Your completed memorandum must be at least two pages in length and should include the use of at least three outside sources. Follow APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. A title page and APA formatting, however, is not necessary, as the formatting should reflect a professional memorandum.
