Here are some steps to follow to locate a current crisis:
Search online for information about a crisis. Look for news media reports or news from an organization’s official website
Identify websites where you found the most comprehensive information about the crisis.
After you’ve identified and researched a current crisis, complete the following:
Prepare a 150-word (at least) synopsis that describes the essence of the crisis. Be sure to cite the sources of where you found information about the crisis (these citations don’t count towards the 150 words). For this assignment, you will be evaluated on your ability to identify risk and crisis and the degree that you describe the crisis using the terms and concepts from Chapters 1,2, and 3 from the text.
After submitting your assignment here for grading, post a summary of your crisis synopsis to the Week 1 Discussion Board and follow up with classmates with at least five posts to continue the discussion.
