Remember I was telling you that I had to review other STEM Lesson Plans? Well someone
also had to review mine as well and answer the same 2 questions as you did for the other
ones I submitted…
Do you mind reading over the suggestions for the PLAN you completed for me, for the
(2nd)question ONLY and add those items to the lesson plan in (RED) and I will change it to (BLACK) once I read over thr changes made. Let me know if you understand my directions or have questions.
NO EDITING NEEDED- 1. Using the rubric as a guide, what strengths do you see in the STEM activity? Name at least three items and why they are strengths
1. . I think your engaging whole class section is well detailed have great guiding questions!
2. I think your observation checklist is clear and will help the teacher plan efficiently.
3. I think having a self evaluation part will help students reflect on how they did. I love that this gives them a voice to express their thoughts.
EDITING NEEDED- 2. Using the rubric as a guide, what suggestions do you have for the STEM activity? Name at least three improvements and why these would be improvements
1. For the Formative/ Summative Assessment Box: Be sure there is an assessment listed to show what the
students will actually be turning in and assessed on.
2. For Elaborate Section: You may want to had more details on how students will gain a deeper understanding
of the concept.
3. For Explain Section: I am not seeing any higher order thinking questions, you may want to add these so the teacher is able to use them for student explanations and discussions.
