This article is about the journey from traditional to contemporary performance feedback at General Electric, a leader in business management strategies. This article describes a new focus away from the traditional/competitive “rank and yank” performance review method during the days of former CEO, Jack Welch, to a more defined focus on modern day employees with different needs and expectations.
