A. Types of data needed to develop the QI initiative
B. Locations of where data can be found for the QI initiative
C. Methods of capturing data for the QI initiative
3. Quality Indicators: Discuss quality indicators that may be involved in a QI initiative. Use the example identified for your chosen nursing specialty. Include the following in your response:
A. The connection of a national quality indicator to a QI initiative
B. The relationship of a nurse-specific quality indicator to a QI initiative
4. Financial Reimbursement: Explain financial reimbursement implications linked to a QI initiative. Use the example identified for your chosen nursing specialty. Include the follow in your response:
A. A brief descriiption of value-based purchasing (VBP)
B. A brief explanation about the connections between VBP and healthcare reimbursement
C. An example of how financial reimbursement will be impacted with a QI initiative
What to Submit
