She begins to wonder why her co-teacher continues to tell them “No” when it seems that they are capable of doing these things without getting hurt. She does some research and finds information about “risky play” and is excited about finding a way to allow her students to take these age-appropriate risks and talk to her coworkers about making these changes in their program.

Choose one age group and outline a detailed plan for how changes could be implemented to provide for more risky play opportunities in the program.

Incorporate at least two credible resources to support your thinking.
