Summative Assessment
You, as lead faculty, have been tasked with creating a new MSN program curriculum for a course addressing Evidence-Based Practice. Utilizing the AACN Essentials, first identify the key domains you will use to guide the course development. Then, develop a course map that supports the course content.
- Include a word document) that summarizes the AACN Essentials domains, competencies, and sub-competencies. Apply the appropriate competencies and sub-competencies to the development of your course.
- Create a course map that includes the following elements: course name, course description, five weekly topics, a brief description (can be bullet points) of each weekly topic, the type of assessment to demonstrate competency (example ….., and the supporting domain/competencies that align with that week’s topic.
