- Executive summary templates and checklists are found in the Week 1 Learning Resources.
The Assignment (3–4 pages)Review elements of the course materials and your practicum activities thus far in your project, synthesize the information, and develop the 1st Installment of your Executive summary. You will continue to add to this document in this course and the subsequent 2 practicum project course.Utilizing the appropriate template for your project, complete the following information in the background section of the Executive Summary for Installment 1 as directed by the DNP Executive Summary Checklist:
- Describe elements in the background that connect to the reason for the practice change or gap in practice.
- Describe the type of quality indicator and its relevance to nursing practice.
- Identify the type of indicator (structural, process or outcome).
- How is the metric measured/national standard?
- What is the organizational goal?
- How does it relate to Evidence based practice
- How does it relate to health equity?
- Discuss the project question and project purpose.
By day 7 of Week 4Submit the 1st Installment of the Executive Summary with the corresponding Executive Summary Checklist.
