The final research and writing project is the preparation of a power
point presentation on a topic of value for your use as a) in-house training at your
employer firm or b) as a business development presentation by your firm to
current or potential clients. You are to choose the topic.
Some emerging issues are stated below, only as suggestions. More important,
however, is a topic you consider to be important because of your interest, skill or
expected usefulness. The goal of this assignment is to provide you with a valuable
tool to advance your career.
It is expected that your presentation be at least 15 power point slides. The presentation will cite Code provisions and
other authority that you find in the research process.

Expanded IRS enforcement
Next steps after an unsuccessful audit
