- Assessing the role of AR in placental aging and dysfunction, particularly whether increased or decreased AR activity contributes to pathological changes in the placenta.
- Examining sex-specific differences in AR activity in male versus female placentas to understand why male fetuses may be at a higher risk of stillbirth.
