Complete the first part in this topic and incorporate it into the second part, Benchmark – Personal Model of Leadership, in Topic 8.

To complete the first part of this assignment, select one value from each of the four levels of the “Rokeach Values Survey” or the “Core Values” resource that will provide the foundation of your model. You may utilize the template provided in the “Creating a Personal Model of Leadership” resource to visually organize your ideas in table form. The table will not be submitted as part of the assignment but can be utilized as a tool.

In 1,000-1,500 words, discuss the following:

1. Identify one value that represents each of the four levels: individual, interpersonal, organizational, and societal.
2. The leadership behaviors and actions that result from the selected values.
3. The meaning and purpose for the selected values.

All content sections of your assignment should have supporting citations to strengthen your claims. Include at least one in-text citation and at least one reference.

Create a PowerPoint presentation and video recording, through Zoom or a platform of your choice, that shares your findings from your service project experience. The presentation is an opportunity to share what servant leadership skills were used and which ones you believe you still have further opportunities to develop.
 

Remember the following quote from Robert K. Greenleaf as you reflect on your service project experience: “The difference manifests itself in the care taken by the servant – first to make sure that other people’s highest priority needs are being served. The best test, and difficult to administer, is: Do those served grow as persons? Do they, while being served, become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants? And, what is the effect on the least privileged in society? Will they benefit or at least not be further deprived.”

Address the following in an 8-10 slide (not including the cover and reference slide) PowerPoint presentation:

1. Explanation of how you selected the particular opportunity.
2. Description of you served the individual or community, including the amount of time.
3. Explanation of how the Greenleaf questions were answered.
4. Identify which servant leadership skills were used to influence others and how.
5. Description of other significant takeaways.
6. Pictures taken during the service projects.
