Title: A Case Study of an Individual with Autism: Exploring Academic and Functional Performance in a School-Age Student

For this assignment, you will write a Case Study of an individual with autism. This can be based on a TV character or a student you have worked with or anyone else. If you base your case study on a real person/student, do NOT use their real name (give a pseudonym). For the purposes of this assignment, you should focus on a school-age student. The Case Study should include the following: 
(a) Case information – Describe demographic and contextual information on the individual 
(b) DSM-V-TR Review – Describe symptoms/key characteristics based on the DSM-V-TR. 
(c) Methods: Describe your case study methods (e.g. interviews, duration/frequencies, observations-durations/frequencies, illustration of the educational and cultural milieu, etc.) 
(d). Findings: Illustrate key findings (e.g. academic, behavioral, and functional performance, educational trajectories, postsecondary goals, special education and related services) 
(e.) Reflection: Provide your suggestions that can improve the student’s academic achievement and functional performance. Explain how this case study impact your professional knowledge and goals. 
It is also expected to be 5-7 pages (this does NOT include the length with your title page and references). It is critical that you complete this paper using APA 7th edition format and check for grammar, spelling, other errors. I have attached the rubric for your review.
