Instructions for SLO Assignment
For this assignment students are to watch the short video Sternberg Theory of Love and read the supplement provided Types of Love, Sternberg’s Triangle of Love: Three Components
Students will respond to the following questions.
Question 1: After viewing the short video and reading the supplement analyze the disadvantages and advantages of Sternberg’s Triangle of Love theory. The disadvantage would be the weakness of Sternberg’s theory. While the advantages would be the merits of Sternberg’s theory. Make sure to support your writing with what you learned from the video, textbook, and supplement. Simple statements will not be acceptable.
Question 2: After viewing the short video and reading the supplement identify which three main components or other possibilities may be present in adolescence, middle adolescence, and early adulthood. As above you must support your thoughts with what you learned from the video, textbook and supplement.
The student’s work is expected to demonstrate critical thinking, well organized ideas, and focused writing.
Response to each question must be at least 200 words per question, one-inch margins, page numbers in header section, double spaced, 12-inch font, Times New Roman font, proper grammar, proper punctuation, correct in-text citation and references.
