Some in healthcare will tell the patient that a disease is irreversible or that the patient, even though they are showing signs and symptoms are “fine”/”within normal limits” based off of the labs.
How can we give hope to patients in their journey of healing themselves? Especially when others do not believe them or they have received the same answer from other providers?
What can we do as providers when it comes to education, presentation, and researching? To make sure that the patient is not given false hope? nor are they told that what they are suffering from is all in thier mind.
The final point that should also be asked is this. How can we as providers protect ourselves from patients looking to abuse our help and prevent people from seeking medications.
