The primary purpose of this website critique is to offer a well-informed argument about the overall effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the home page and at least four (4) related pathway pages of an e-commerce website of your choosing. In doing so, you are expected to use Redish’s guidelines and cite her book. To help organize your analytic process and written critique, create a scenario to contextualize your assessment. For example, I often visit BathandBodyWorks.com to peruse the home fragrance section for seasonal products. The minimum word count is 1,500 words. The objectives of this assignment include practicing how to construct a persuasive argument, practicing how to compose a multimodal document, and practicing how to conduct an analysis. Taken together, these assignment objectives are designed to help satisfy the “Articulate theories and methodologies to analyze multimodal situations” and “Apply theories and methodologies to design a multimodal deliverable” course learning outcomes. In attempt to ensure that you effectively construct and organize a valid argument, I suggest that the text be organized into four different sections (not paragraphs).
