• Describe in your own words what is Bogey Greek Preserve. What is its history? What is its mission?
• What is a watershed? What significance does Bogey Greek Preserve play in our watershed?
• Describe the different ecosystems present at Bogey Greek Preserve. Find pictures of each (there are 3 or 4) and paste them into this document. Be sure to label each ecosystem.

• You need to Include three photos of yourself on the trail, including one at the visitors entrance sign.

Your report will take the form of a 3 to 4-page Word document , double-spaced with 12-point font, Submit as a word document or PDF. Google docs and .pages are not acceptable. Your journal will be graded using a rubric that considers the following- Ecological literacy, importance of the site, personal contribution, mechanics, and connection to course materials.

Criteria

–Ecological Literacy Demonstrates a understanding on the field trip objectives through discussion on the ecology of the area, importance of biodiversity, and indicates and describes several key species.

–Importance of SiteProvides adequate background on the site, considers legacy of the site and human impacts. Demonstrates excellent understanding of the ecological, social, economic importance of the area.

–Personal ContributionShows considerable personal reflection and active engagement Personal contribution is provided through photos, and creativity in layout and comments. Describe not only what you learned, but what you felt!

–MechanicsReport adheres to all standards of grammar, writing, and citations. A works cited page is included. Report is generated from their own mind and paraphrasing outside reference material. If a significant amount of the report is from outside sources without paraphrasing the report may receive a zero score
