For example, what do the actions of Pocahontas in her kidnapping, imprisonment, marriage, conversion to Christianity, and death tell us about the complexity of Native Americans around the time Europeans arrived in North America? As part of your answer, choose at least three major moments in Pocahontas’s life and explain those events from her perspective (as opposed to the perspective of someone like John Smith).
Imagine that you are Pocahontas. Assume it is 1617, you have actually survived your trip to England, and you return with your husband to Virginia and report to Opechankeno. You offer advice based on your experiences during the last decade on how the Powhatans should deal with the English.
