1. Based on the information presented in this chapter, in your words, define “adjustments.” Describe and discuss two instances when you, as an individual, had to make adjustments in order to cope with environmental stressors. Explain the context of this adjustment and how you reacted. Discuss whether these adjustments were behavioral, acclimatory or developmental. Be sure to support your claims with evidence/research.
2. Based on the information presented in this chapter, in your words, define “adaptation.” Describe and discuss two examples of adaptation that you, as an individual, possess. Briefly explain how and where you think you acquired these two adaptations (i.e. ancestry, geography, migrations, etc.). Do you personally consider these traits to adaptations? Why or why not? Be sure to support your claims with evidence/research.
