Please post about your chosen project topic by sharing a brief evidence-based statement of why you chose it (ie: input from your Preceptor or is there a particular need at your location, what is the background for the issue – what makes the topic relevant?) Cite your evidence (at this point, one source is acceptable) and provide a reference in APA format. To maintain confidentiality for facilities, do not specifically name your facility – instead, state a unit or area name that does not identify location.

Next, share the delivery process for your project – PowerPoint presentation (and to whom) will be presented to the nursing.

Note: This exercise is intended to help you brainstorm for information that would be pertinent to your topic and facilitate a more robust project. However, you are not required to incorporate peer suggestions into your project/paper. 

Faculty will review and approve the research project prior to student initiation of the project. This will occur via the discussion post; if faculty has questions re: the topic, the student will receive a private email to discuss.

Recommendations of the faculty member are expected to be integrated in the project to improve the project.
