The banking sector in the United Kingdom plays a pivotal role in the country`s economy, serving as a cornerstone for financial services and a critical driver of economic growth. Renowned for its robust infrastructure and global influence, the UK banking industry encompasses a diverse range of institutions, including retail banks, investment banks, building societies, and challenger banks. These entities cater to a wide spectrum of customers, from individual savers to multinational corporations. Key players in the sector include established names such as Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, and NatWest Group.

As a Business Analyst, it is expected that you examine the Banking industry in the UK and make recommendations about the future of the sector.
This assignment requires you to produce a 10 minute video presentation on business analytics within UK’s Banking industry sector. Not only will this assessment test your presentation skills, but it will also assess how well you are able to gather data, analyse and interpret the output with supporting relevant literature.
Obtain yearly data on a minimum of 10 Banks operating in the UK banking industry from FAME/Statista/IBISworld/Yahoo Finance. You should collect data on not less than five and not more than ten variables from the companies’ reports over the period from 2014 to 2023.

There will be a penalty of a deduction of 10% of the mark (after internal moderation) for work exceeding the time limit by 10% or more.
