Your final submission should overview what you expect to find in your area of research based on the research you have gathered. Be sure that your hypothesis is clear and supported by literature, using specific examples from the literature. When you discuss the specific method used in your hypothetical research study, you should be clear about how you would measure variables of interest. For example, if you are using an experimental design, you will need to identify the experiment’s independent and dependent variables. If you are incorporating a survey, discuss the composition of the survey, how the survey will be administered, etc. For all variables of interest, it should be clear how they would be measured, i.e., what are the operational definitions you will use in your proposed study.
Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed in your method draft:
Restate your hypothesis. The hypothesis should be logical and appropriate to the topic you want to research.
Explain where your hypothesis fits in the context of the literature reviewed.
Discuss specific examples from relevant literature that support your hypothesis.
Discuss the research participants who will be involved in your study, including how they will be selected and how many will be used.
Explain the research design and method you selected and justify why they are appropriate for your research.
