Unit 5: Integrating Technology Across the Disciplines
This unit addresses technology integration needs and practices specific to various disciplinary content areas. The chapter has the following structure:
● Review of issues in the field—These issues shape the ways technology can be (or required to be) used.
● Technology integration strategies and resources—These are strategies being used to address instructional needs for the area, and are given along with example lesson ideas for these strategies.
● Recommendations for teacher growth in technological knowledge—These focus on how teachers may continue to grow in their understanding of issues and integration strategies for the content area and include a rubric for self-assessment.
You should select one discipline that is of interest to your future teaching career.
Your Final Assignment will focus on Chapter 5, Unit.
